Flour Lake Campground

Flour Lake Campground is located on the quiet shores of Flour Lake, approximately 30 miles up the Gunflint Trail and adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The lake offers great fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, and lake trout. The campground features 37 campsites, has vault toilets, two solar pumps for drinking water, fire grates, picnic tables, and a boat ramp. All outhouses are handicap accessible as well as four sites with handicap accessible fire grates and picnic tables. Some sites may be reserved and some are on a first come, first served basis. Pay-per-use showers, groceries, and many other services can be found at Golden Eagle Lodge, the concessionaire/operater of the campground, less than one mile away. The Flour Lake Campground is a federal facility operated under permit by Golden Eagle Lodge. The amenities of Golden Eagle Lodge are not included in the fees charged at the Flour Lake Campground. All the rules and regulations of the Flour Lake Campground are nationally mandated by the United States Forest Service.
